Sell God and Earn Money!

You may wonder about the above headline, but this is becoming real true in our Indian culture these days! Every where you can see, in the print media, in the visual media, in hoardings and in banners, you can see the advertisement of   the arrival of one or the other religious gurus for teaching one thing or the other to the masses! There are classes conducted in the name of these Gurus all over the country. Of course, most of the time, if not all the time, you may have to pay for learning such spiritual things!

There are quite a few television channels in the country for the past few years, gradually starting to earn their keep, by means of advertisement revenues related to the ashrams, by showing the live footage of the spiritual leaders, by devoting time to the spiritual medicine men and their different methods of healings etc!

Everyone who is a good public speaker is turning into a Guruji, and everyone who is riddled with numerous problems (the rest of us) is turning for solace into these leaders!

There are so many problems which are daunting the modern India now, than it was ever before in the history of our democracy!  The inequality of income and status is too visible now, mostly created by the sudden rush for gold into the country by the multinational companies and multi national banks! The salary & benefits of the multi national companies, banks and the big corporate of the Indian industry is unmatched by the payments of the ordinary companies in the country. There are millions of people who are silent sufferers in the private sector, earning pittance, facing daily financial problems, needing someone to lead them out of their misery at least temporarily…and then they find these Godmen!

On the other hand, the people who are earning hi-fi payments, working in spectacular environments, endowed with all perks n benefits, with five day a week etc. are also unhappy.   They have to produce results at any cost! They are under a tremendous work pressure in the office (there is no free lunch, remember?) and are unable to provide proper quality time for their family, thus creating a friction in their home! They do need someone to help them out of their misery, and the Godmen are available for them too!

Then there is the BPO segment of people, who have never seen continuous days nor seen continuous nights in peace! Their erratic working hours, the telephonic abuse from abroad, their bad food habits, the drugs they consume in order to keep themselves awake etc. are taking a toll on their lives and living!

The call centers of the Godmen are open for the call center people all the time!

The segment of business people: most of them are naturally God loving people in anyway! They understand that beyond all their investments n hard work, the real miracle was done by the God's blessings!

The Godmen are specifically available for them and are even willing to visit their homes at a given notice!

The name God does make a wonderful business sense!

God sells, always, under all the circumstances! The more problems you have, the more you remember God! The more diseases spread across the country, the more people remember God! The more convincing a god man can speak, the more money he can earn!

It does not mean that every religious leader, Guru, Sanyasan, and Godman is a fake: there are wonderful leaders and Gurus in our spiritual country, whose very look shall make you to feel humbled. You may inevitably feel calm and at peace with yourselves. They don't ever bother about your money as much as they are bothered about your happiness and spiritual growth!

However, it does mean that there are more of the money-seeking people working now under the cover of Godmen than it was ever before in India!

Yes, You may sell God and earn Money!
