Dozen eggs By Dr. Arpita Sutradhar,Ghaziabad, India

We had bought a dozen eggs for making a new dish. Being tired, I
had kept the eggs on the table and gone off for a nap. In the evening, when I
started out to make the recipe, I found four eggs missing. It seemed very
strange, because there were no broken shells lying around, nor were there any
hint of the eggs having run off on their own.

All of a sudden, my eyes fell on my 4 years old nephew. He was sitting quietly
in a corner like a hen and concentrating hard. I walked up to him, kissed him
and asked him where the eggs were. Had he taken them? Very innocently he got up,
pointed out at 4 squashed eggs, and looking at me accusingly he said, " look
what u have done. I was warming the eggs.. now the chicks will never come out".
