The Lovers of East and West
The Lovers of East and West
Oh, Kipling sir, we shall defy you,
and cross the forbidden bridge,
under the sultry evening sky,
we shall exchange a kiss.
East is east and west is west,
and many a taboo exists,
but love knows no boundaries,
when conquering it gets.
Earth and Sky may never stand
at God's great judgement seat,
for us each day a happiness
swells the ground beneath our feet.
Our minds will meet, our hands will follow,
our lives shall intertwine,
we have no fear, our way is clear,
the sky goes on forever.

Hi,
Though I was personally wondering how poetry would seem here, reading yours has indeed taken away any inhibitions whatsoever.
